Security

We take precautions to protect your information to ensure that is protected both online and offline.

When you submit any information by an email note, it is protected online and offline.

When you submit information directly through our website, such as completing a form, making a transaction, or registering or logging in with an userid, email and password, all data is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.

Every page on our website is encrypted which you can verify by looking for:

  1. “https” at the beginning of the URL/domain address
  2. an icon of a “closed lock” on your web browser.

Only staff and contractors(*) who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, shipping or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers and servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Log Files

HexDigital follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies and Web Analytics

Like any other website, HexDigital uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Data collected for web analytics purposes goes outside of Canada to Google servers and may be processed in any country where Google operates servers. Public Information and Third Parties

We have public blogs on our website. Any information you include in a comment on our blog may be read, collected, and used by anyone. If your Personal Information appears on our blogs and you would like it to be removed, contact us. If we are unable to remove your information, we will let you know why.

Social Media Widgets

Our site may include Social Media Features, such as the  LinkedIn, Facebook Like button, and Widgets, such as the “Share This” button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.

Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third-party or hosted directly on our site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Our website, HexDigital.ca, contains links to other sites which are not governed by this Privacy Policy. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites.

Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

You may consult this list to find the Privacy Policy for each of the advertising partners of HexDigital.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on HexDigital, which are sent directly to users’ browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that HexDigital has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Third Party Privacy Policies

Copyright Legal Policy

All photographs, illustrations, digital art, videos, and other forms of images on the website (“images”) are the exclusive property and copyright of HexDigital.

It is illegal to copy or use any portion of any Image whether by photographic means, scanning, digital copying, or as reference for another illustration.

  • It is illegal to incorporate all or part of any image or video into another image. Changing an image or videos does not give you any right to use the altered Image. The original image, however modified or distorted, is still protected by copyright.
  • HexDigital will be entitled to liquidated damages for each Unauthorized Use of any image or video. “Unauthorized use” means any reproduction that is not specifically granted by HexDigital.

If you believe that your property has been used in any way that could be considered a copyright infringement or a violation of your intellectual property rights HexDigital.  copyright agent may be contacted  as noted at the end of this page.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:
